We have been blown away by the dedication and craftsmanship of the team from Going Aloft. They went above and beyond to get our loft conversion to a decent height at a fast pace (even coming in over bank holiday weekends!) and we now have a beautiful light and airy bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, en-suite and office with additional under-eaves storage. Marcin also extended our chimney as part of the build which our chimney sweep has said it deserves a gold star! To complete the build Marcin created bespoke 2 wardrobes, 1 walk-in for the new bedroom and a second under the new staircase, both of which have been built to an excellent standard. Thank you!

To say that we are absolutely delighted with our loft conversion would be an understatement. Marcin and his team were fantastic, very friendly, punctual and tidy, working extremely hard every day, despite some challenging hot weather this summer. Marcin is very much a ‘ there are no problems, just solutions’ type of chap, nothing was too much trouble and he was always happy to accommodate any changes. We feel very lucky to have had him and his team. I would not hesitate to recommend Going a-loft, we’ve ended up with the most stunning, well-built space, that exceeded our expectations.

The fascia board on our dormer blew off recently. Peter and his team spotted this whilst driving by on their way to another job and came to fix it the following day. They did the original loft conversion 8 years ago and still came to fix it with no charge. Amazing service, highly recommended!

After measurements and a reasonable total cost quote and also after dismissing other loft companies Going Aloft commenced their work in April 2021. I had a dorma loft conversion done by Going A Loft over 20 years ago now. I was very pleased with the job they did then, but would also like to say that Peter is only to pleased to help out with any little issues afterwards ( just normal wear tear and weather etc) at the drop of a hat even after 20 years. Over the moon with our loft conversion. Marcin worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect. Everything was left tidy each night and the conversion team was very considerate to my neighbours. Every question was answered quickly. I would definitely use them again.

We decided to go with Peter at going a loft because they deal with everything and whilst that may not be everyones taste, it made my life with young children and a business easier. They started and were hit with 3 storms and a pandemic (talk about luck) but even through all of that their professionalism was top notch. We had a dormer with 2 bedrooms and a shower room. We had to deviate from the original plans because of a boiler upgrade that was needed and nothing was too much trouble. As a family we are over the moon with the extra space and the craftsmanship. Going A Loft recently converted the loft in our bungalow, removing a hip roof extending it to the side of the building. With 3 metres of headroom and a usable area of 35m2 in the loft space we have now added two bedrooms and a modern shower room in the old loft space. All of the people who worked on the extension were polite and professional and the end result is a beautiful useable space.

Very pleased with the excellent quality finish. Phil and the team were here from 8am-4.30pm every day until it was completed. They were efficient and made sure every detail was the way we wanted it. Their suggestions were very helpful, and they certainly seemed very experienced in their work. They were also happy to undertake a few extra things we wanted doing at the same time such as new windows for all of our existing bedrooms which we were very pleased with. Very pleasant and approachable- I have 4 young children so was pleased to never hear any bad language. I chose this company because of a recommendation from my brother who also had his loft converted and they have once again reached the same excellent standard. Would certainly recommend.
