Stayed for a new year party here.
Staff were excellent and attentive to people in attendance. Staff seemed to be professional and helpful throughout.
Had a dinner and dance event. Drinks were reasonably priced. Food we had was not as good as it could be. Beef was tough to eat. Starter was great. Dessert was unremarkable. The breakfast was very good.
We had a DJ for the event who was only ok but we had a good time dancing.
The room we had was clean although was in need of a serious update. Bar area was clean and relaxed.
There was no quiet space if people wanted to sit out of the main dance area which needs to be rectified.
The live singer they had was very good and was a pleasure to listen to and I would have preferred to have danced to her singing.
Had a great time with friends and although there are some shortcomings it was a relaxing event to attend.

Stayed here for work just before Christmas, the room was brilliant. The bed was very comfortable, the shower head great pressure and temp. My room had a balcony which was a great addition. My only issue was that I had to travel about 3 miles to get to the nearest towns

We stayed on the 10th of December this month. We got there a little early as we had travelled from Nottingham. I was in a wheel chair because of a motorbike accident. The receptionist was fantastic she had only been with the hotel a few days. But as a managing director of a bar hotel chain, we could not ask for a better receptionist, polite, and helpful. Nothing was difficult. What a fantastic personality to. 👌 10/10, we will definitely be coming back once we move that way.
Rooms: Clean and tidy bed was a little hard for me, but that's one of them things. But I had loads of room, and as my leg was in a frame, the walking bathroom and shower were brilliant.

Enjoyed the pool, sauna etc. Huge bed for one. Staff smiley/friendly. Decor just a little tired/dated. Breakfast plentiful but less one star for having to make your own coffee/toast from a silly little machine. For 16 notes I would expect a pot of decent tea/coffee and a rack of toast brought to the table.

The room was ok but starting to look a bit tired, radiator was either on full (quite noisy) or off. Went for a meal the first evening, had starter quite quickly then chased a couple of times for our main course but gave up after 1 1/2 hours …

Just come back from a very lovely 2 night stay with my daughter. We had a fabulous time, the staff were so welcoming and helpful, the room was very comfortable and clean. The pool, spa pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were lush! The 2 hot bed were also very enjoyable when you could get near them. The facilities were clearly in very high demand as it was always busy. Shame there isn’t an hour or so window for guests only.
We only booked for breakfast which was lovely, lots of selection, and ordered a pizza one evening from the bistro. Over all we found it excellent value for money, a great location and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!

Stayed over 2 nights for a friends wedding. Lovely staff, nice scenery. On the hotel front, clean facilities but the establishment looks rather dated and could do with an upgrade soon, However if you are looking for a traditional golf club vibe, then you will likely enjoy it.
Delicious vegan options at the restoraunt. We had the gnocchi and risotto meals. We loved the spiced pear desert!
Many thanks for the kind and helpful staff and equally the chefs for accommodating us.

The lodges were amazing with such lovely views and very clean inside. This review would have been 5 stars if the cigarette butts and metals beer lids had been removed off the picnic table as my toddler picked a cigarette straight up. The pool area was very nice and the lodge was beautiful.
