We had a lovely Sunday roast in the Diggers last Sunday. Only a 10 minute walk from Brown's farm campsite. We had a lovely welcome from the Landlady and really enjoyed the food. We'll definitely return to the Diggers. Mike and Sheila

Went for a Sunday roast. 3 options - Beef, Turkey & Gammon. I had the turkey & my wife the beef. We were both impressed with the quality & quantity. Great chocolate fudge cake, with a fantastic flavour ice cream. Good real ale selection, really friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

A wet cold Sunday, so went for a Sunday roast. Christmas menu available with turkey, beef or nut roast.
Not many other people there, a couple of small family tables eating and a couple of
tables having a beer watching the football.
Service was friendly and functional.
Used to be a great and busy pub, but the last year has been tough on many businesses and families. Hopefully it’ll pick up again.

Had the BEST, crispiest batter on my battered fish, served with chunky chips and peas. Others had hunters chicken or scampi and chips. Very friendly owners. Lovely old thatched pub, very warm on arrival at noon. (Doors opened at the strike of 12.) Well worth the drive down the country lanes. Large carpark round the back . Dog friendly. Soundtrack was diverse!

Lovely place for a campervan stop over. Very friendly & welcoming team (we were offered electric hook up if we’d wanted it) - locals were friendly too (think my dog has made some new best friends!) food was lovely. We felt very welcome & really enjoyed our evening. Will definitely call in again when we’re next passing - great place xx

We had a lovely lunch sitting outside in the sunshine. My son and I had tasty burgers and my sister in law a chicken combo. Followed by naughty desserts of chocolate fudge cake and sticky toffee pudding. Delicious! Very friendly pub.
We look forward to trying your roasts soon.

Lovely food and really friendly staff. We used to come here frequently 45 years ago and it is just as I remembered. Redecorated a few times obviously.
Dietary restrictions: They were very helpful and adaptable for vegan. The GF fish and chips was fantastic.
