I couldn’t recommend Mandy any more, she is truly amazing. Mandy spent a lot of time making sure my dogs were comfortable in the studio and desensitised to the lighting and noises before we even started, and that was after all the time we spent drying them off! She was professional throughout but so friendly and welcoming at the same time. The pictures are just perfect and ones I will treasure for life, I will be recommending her to every equine and dog person I know and cannot wait to have more photos done! 10,000/10 star rating!

Mandy has to be one of the most talented photographers i know! She is able to capture all my dogs beautifully and really knows how to show their individual personalities. Every single photo just takes my breath away!

I highly recommend Mandy at The Darkroom. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. We had a photoshoot in the forest and me and Archie had the best time, was no pressure and fun at the same time and as for the end results the photos are outstanding! Mandy is incredible. I brought in my XL drooly American Bulldog and yappy miniature Daschund for a photoshoot and Mandy made us feel welcome from the get go. Having such different dogs with different personalities (and not always on their best behaviour!) I thought would be a challenge to shoot but Mandy is a true professional and came up with amazing ideas and worked so well with me and my dogs. Mandy made it a breeze. Mandy is so talented with editing. I'm also extremely pleased with my decision to print on fine art paper, the quality is stunning - so well worth it. Mandy from The Darkroom has taken pictures of half of my pack of dogs, she was the photographer in residence on a course I attended recently. All of the pictures were absolutely fantastic and caught the true essence of my dogs. I feel truly privileged to have been able to have Mandy work with my dogs. She puts them at ease and takes the time to get the best from them. Thank you is not enough.

Brilliant experience. Mandy was so approachable and professional from the very first phone call. I wanted a shoot for our 6 rescue dogs so I knew this was a big ask, but she assured me this would be doable. The dogs all adored Mandy and Alex, so this meant all the dogs were super relaxed and happy during the shoot - even my nervous reactive girl! All 6 dogs are very high energy but with help and direction from Mandy they all posed well and everyone had a brilliant time on the shoot. It was like a fun dog walk with cameras. The photo’s I’ve seen so far are breathtaking and I couldn’t have asked for more. I am so excited to receive the final print! Mandy went above and beyond with small little extras so that I can make this an extra special Christmas gift for my partner. I cannot rate The Darkroom enough and I am sure we will be back when our next dog arrives next year.

What an amazing experience. My dog and I went for a lovely walk, both enjoying the woods and the company, whilst Mandy snapped away with her camera. I have been kept up to date with all the editing and received sneak previews of what’s to come. Thoroughly professional and enjoyable. We had such an amazing experience with Mandy. We were recommended her by a friend and certainly were not disappointed. We were truthfully a little nervous about the shoot as our husky was only 9 months old and we worried she would not be able to get any usable photographs. She was so friendly and approachable it just felt like a lovely walk on Dartmoor. Our dog was so comfortable and really enjoyed it. We were absolutely shocked at the results they are so beautiful. Mandy was so wonderful from beginning to end. She responded so quickly to all my messages. The actual shoot was so enjoyable for both myself and more importantly Alfie (my dog). Not only was Mandy friendly with me she was wonderful with my dog too. The results of the shoot came through very quickly and the quality of the images are phenomenal. Mandy was extremely efficient from start to finish. We arranged to go for a lovely walk in Shute to take photos of our puppy Mabel. The photos were taken in a very low pressure and relaxed way whilst just we gently strolled around. The results speak for themselves. Would highly recommend.
